Robert Bailey Jr. has been forged in “The Son in Legislation,” an ABC comedy pilot from author and government producer Ajay Sahgal.
Bailey will perform Benjamin Greene, an EMT in a connection with Charlie (Evangeline Young), a recent higher education graduate with designs to go to legislation university that get upended when she unexpectedly results in being pregnant. A ‘thoroughly great male,’ Benjamin craves the acceptance of Charlie’s father Jake (Chris Sullivan).
Most lately, Bailey experienced a visitor arc in the first period of “All American: Homecoming.” In 2019, he performed a guide in the ABC thriller collection “Emergence,” co-starring with Allison Tollman and Donald Faison. He also experienced a frequent position on clinical drama “The Night time Shift,” which ran from 2014 to 2017 on NBC. “The Son in Law” is established to star Sullivan as Jake, an regular plumbing contractor who falls in love with the much younger Asha (Reema Sampat). Asha hails from an exceptionally wealthy South Asian spouse and children, with a father who serves as a conductor for the New York Philharmonic and a mother Khushi (Meera Simhan) who is a nicely-related philanthropist. As Jake and Asha investigate their relationship, they also have to navigate their relationships with each and every other’s families, and Jake in particular faces hefty disapproval from Khushi.
